    irc3200n bad print quality

    helo guys please help me i have 3200 with n bootrom and im using pcl5c driver and the print output is very defferent from the original ducument.it prints darker and dead.when i used it as copier it has a good copy quality.please help me what i need to do.

    Try using the UFR print driver, chances are the quality won't change much when you using these type of print driver. If you have a imagepass the print qaulity would be better. Post script drivers are better to use when you want to achieve better output. Do you have a image pass? We also have to keep in mind the drumlife, how are the drums are they old? Try doing a full auto gradation and see if that helps.

      hi screwtape i dont have image pass .and i will going to try ufr and ps i will post if the image changes.thanks for the reply.

        You only could use the post script driver if have a imagepass! If you have a canon print controller the only option you have is pcl and UFR if I'm not mistaking. Remember these machine are business color.

            As i said, "If you have a canon print controller the only option you have is pcl and UFR if I'm not mistaking. "

            I was unaware that there was a PS driver option for the canon controller. Normally, the user software that comes with the printer kits, its options are UFR2 or PCL5e,PCL5c. I usually use PS drivers when the machine comes with a EFI controller (imagePass).
