Canon iR-ADV C7565 III Cyan fading streaks

This is a lightly used machine. Toner, etc. all OEM. All parts OEM.

There are diagonal faded streaks across the cyan image beginning at the leading edge of the page. I have replaced the cyan image drum, but the problem is now slightly worse. The image here is from a test print after the drum change.

Any suggestions on where to go from here?

    Chris

I agree. It seems like a lack of starter in the cyan developer.

I have a second c7565 in storage. Is there any reason not to swap the entire cyan processing unit to see if that corrects the issue prior to replacing the developer?

When we say to change the developer, we mean change the developer unit. Swap only C developer unit.
It's not a big deal, believe me.

Many thanks to tinnyjay and zoraldinho for their kind assistance.

It was, indeed, the cyan developer. Swapping it corrected the issue. The replacement developer has about a 100k impression count, so hopefully it will serve for some time before having to be replaced with a new one.

Here is a pic of the bad developer in which the streaks are visible on the roller. After that is a pic of the test page after replacement.
