Hello,
So, I have a 20 page A4 document and I need to print it on A3 booklet, fold only, not saddle stich, no staples.
It will result in 5 A3 sheets printed on both sides.
I'm trying to do this on 2 printers: Canon 6255 and Canon IRAC5250, both with external booklet finishers.
The problem is that if I select A3 booklet fold only the printers will eject the folded sheets one by one, not 5 sheets at once like it would do if I select saddle stich.
It's not good for me, because it will take a long time to combine them manually. When an order comes in, it's between 2.000-10.000 sets.
It takes longer to combine them then to print booklet without fold and fold them manually afterwards.
Can you give me any idea how to get this done faster? Is it some kind of setting I'm missing? Or is there a possibility to remove the staples from the saddle stich and make the printer believe that it has staples and eject all the 5 sheets as a set?
Do you know if I can buy a machine that can fold sets like that? Let's say I print booklet and fold them with another equipment. (I only found folding machines that fold one by one, not sets)
Do you know if Konica Minolta booklet finishers are the same? I'm willing to buy a Konica Minolta or other brand for this job if it ca do it, because it's driving me crazy.
Thank you!
