Canon iR-ADV 6055 - 'PDL IMG Invalid Data'

    Hello there,
I need help to sort out the error on our printers model iR-ADV 6055 which we cant get rid of , the error is 'PDL IMG Invalid Data' . Ive noticed that the error occurs mostly around 12am or 12pm ish. Printing and scaning are fine, its just the error and flashing orange indicator which is irretating. To remove the error i have to cancel the job status (which is empty) and as soon i cancel those it gives a beeping sound (per error i guess) for few seconds then stops. Appreciate the advice! thanks

so what i've done so far.
    1. updated the firmware to latest.
    2. performed HD-CLEAR - CHK-TYPE 0 ,4 & 2 but i guess it did not do anything . althought it gave an OK display. I tried no. 4 again but then gave me NG display.

    Hello,

I've seen this happen alot, when a user is using a print driver that isn't compatible, or an HDD that is on the fritz.

Can you check and make sure that all of the users, are using a UFR-II driver? That is of course, if the device doesn't have PCL, or PS kit installed.

If it does, then it wont matter.

Next would be to replace the HDD, and install the latest FW. You can perform a DCM backup of the device prior to this.
