The feeder will feed fine single sided, double side the page ejects all the way out before the reversing happens and then show a jam. I kind of remember you have to tell the machine it is a DADF and not just a single sided ADF but cannot find a setting to do that. Also, in the DADF-AV1 book it mentions a reversing sensor, but I do not see that in the parts book

350i DADF is integrated with host machine, not as an option. There is no settings for duplex/simplex. DADF-AV1 is incompatible DADF model with 350i so searching in its parts catalog is wrong.
Check disengagement solenoid SL01 in DADF, i think it's not working (sticking to silencing sticker or dead). -
Czekson, thank you for the reply. I apologize for the late follow up. This customer is not totally down and chargeable, so they are on the back burner. The solenoid does engage, and I can see the gears that drive the lower rollers reverse. Unfortunately, this happens after the paper has already been ejected. I think it has to do with the paper end sensor, not seeing the paper pass by. I have the SM and Parts book, and it shows the document end sensor position in the SM. I tested that by placing a piece of paper in front of the senor and seeing a state of change in the service mode ADF >RCON P01 >-PS2 and PS3. Is there an adjustment for timing by paper size? The parts book does not show the sensors for the ADF ( or I can't find them. ) .
Any other information is greatly appreciatedComment
