Canon iR 527iF - toner cartridge problem

Customer called and said it was making a knocking noise, On inspection noticed that the toner cartridge does not want to stay in place. Removed the cartridge and when installing it, it was hard to get it to lock in (no I did not force it). Discovered that the left back side was not going into the alignment hole. Lifted the cartridge on that side as it was being installed and it went right in. Any one having a problem with this machine or a suggestion (update) for making the cartridge go in smoother and align up? Any adjustment/alignment for the cartridge? Have the manual and have not found anything yet.
    Thanks

We have about 400 of them in the state-owned company. We have no problems with the original cartridges. We have the same and similar problems with the compatible ones.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

This is a OEM cartridge. They ordered a new one and it had the same problem.

I have had the same issue with a similar type of machine from Sharp. ("Lifted the cartridge on that side as it was being installed and it went right in.") Ours is a Lexmark rebadge.
