Canon dxc 3950 Screen black on control panel

Hi I am attending a call tomorrow for black screen on lcd so cant copy or scan
Any pointers before I attend would be helpful if anyone has had this issue

A bit late answer. Have you fixed it yet?
The dx 39xx series does not have a speed of 50 per minute, so I assume you wrote the wrong model.
In practice, a black screen means that the machine is turned off, so check whether it is set to turn off or if someone turned it off or disconnected it from the electricity. If the green light is not flashing, it is the power supply, otherwise it is the main controller.
