Update to latest firmware. New firmware will override this error. Contact Canon Authorized Partner or Canon Company for more information

I don't know the tech pub, but canon can't get chips for the toner and started shipping oem toner with a label on box explaining your message to customer. I also believe it is over-ridden in the firmware update. For now just press I agree.

Toner status will be 100%, on the end it will go to 10%, then 5% and then 0%. From 10 to 0 you can print 1000 pages.

Or just bay chips and add them to cartridges.
