    IRC 5185

    Good morning wanted to know if someone could help me with a jam that I am having with an IRC 5185, a jam code of 1001 tried to look in the book nothing was found not sure why I am having this jam issue, thank you for you help in advance you guys have a great day.

    I think that is a finisher jam. Is there a saddle stitch finisher on it?

      Its an inlet sensor delay jam.Could be on a W1 or W2.

        The inlet sensors on the Irc finishers(w1/w2)are notorious for falling sideways off their perch.
        It's a pain to remount them but it can be done...remove the inlet guide plate and push the staple assy away from HP...that will give you plenty of room to work.
