have error code E0005 for cleaning web . replaced web but cant get code to clear. tried * 2-8 * but screen locked on error code. copier not networked. do i need to be connected to pc to clear code and reset counter. manual no help there. any help appreciated.

You need to reset in service mode.
If you leave the machine in error for too long you won't be able to access service mode.
Cycle the machine off/on and let it go to the error code again then try service mode>Copier>Function>Clear>Err
Don't forget to clear both counters for the web -
*28*> copier>counter> drbl1>fix-web select and press clear to reset web counter.
in this fix_web may in drbl1 or drbl2.
and also it causes due to sensor in web assembly. cheak interrupter position. the web may cut or unwinded.Comment
