    [Error Code] Canon IRA-C5540i error E000025-0451

    Canon IRA-C5540i It will print 1 sheet then error with this error E000025-0451. verified oem toner is in and has 80% left in it. I did the manual toner door open though the svc mode 2 switch and the door opens i checked the toner all was good was not packed in hard seemed to flow/move well in the bottle. no gears grinding. I have updated to latest firmware.

    Any help is appreciated

        Check the Vsig value for black;if it is 231,then replace the dev assy and the set-on hopper assy for black .

          Thaks for the replies.


          I followed the manual and found that the sensor flag on the hopper unit detecting bottle rotation was out of its holder and laying in the back of the hopper unit.
          I reset the flag and spring however it is still erroring the same. As you all have stated looks to be low in toner in the developer causing the ATR sensor to read high.
          Back in the day you could manually add toner to the developer to get the desired levels. Is there a way to add toner from the hopper to the developer unit?

            Your dev unit might be out of wack already. Best solution would be to replace with a new or used dev unit and a new hopper. I just went through a similar problem and once the dev ratio is out of range there isnt going to be any saving it.
            I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.
