After resetting copier emails using 2 step verification some of the copiers are giving a smtp authentication error the next day. The only fix is upgrading software and doing an MMI clear is there any way to fix this problem without the clearing of the MMI

Turn on 2 step verification on your google account. Add a new device. (Others)
You receive a code that you enter instead of a password.If it ain't broke, don't fix it

As mentioned above by Zoraldinho, you can generate a "Mail App Password" for each device,

Look under "Create & Use App Passwords"
