    C3325i - Does a developer replacement require replacement of another consumable too?

    Hi guys,

    So I was having issues with my C3325i / C3320F last night and one of the guys helped out here. Working great.

    I recently replaced the developer under the black toner in the printer and today while browsing the forum, I read this post in which a forum member replaced a drum unit (mine is a developer unit) and was suggested to follow through with a blade replacement too.

    I initially called a Canon Technician to diagnose the machine and provide a solution, in which he recommended replacement of the developer unit and the ADF maintenance kit consumable. I have since done both and now I have no white lines on my prints. Now out of curiosity (paranoia really), should I replace any other consumable along with the installation of the developer unit?

    It is not necessary if the drum is in good condition.
    If it ain't broke, don't fix it
