Canon D1320 has"Turn the main power ON. If problem persists contact dealer or service

I asked if they checked for jam and they told me they had. They did power it down but I don't think they unplugged it yet. Never seen this message before. Any suggestions I can research before driving all the way to another town to check on it? Can't find my manual. Thanks.

I would suspect the message says to turn off then on. If so there should be an error code
