    IRAC5235I - Patchy prints

    Hi all,
The attached PG10 test print shows the image quality issue we are getting. If the machine is stopped to view the ITB before ITB cleaning then you can see that there is the same width of extra toner left on the belt matching the same area on the paper that is lacking in density . Points to an issue with the secondary transfer outer roller, but we cannot see any obvious causes on that roller itself. Have given it a gentle dry wipe but not much improvement. Have tried increasing secondary tr roller voltage as indicated in the service manual......

Set the setting value of the applicable service mode to "+10" after checking the sub-itemname corresponding to XXXX from the following table. If not improved, please increase the
    setting value by +10 each.
(Example: When the paper type is the plain paper 1, environmental classification is 1 and it is
    on a first side, COPIER > ADJUST > HVTR > 2TR-N1)

This made the fault worse/more noticeable which was unexpected, so have reverted to default values.

Im guessing it could be there has been some sort of fluid spilt on the Secondary transfer outer roller that is not visible to the eye but until we get back to change it out its hard to tell as all seems dry. Cannot rotate the end to end position of that roller as it can only be fitted in one direction, so cant see if the fault follows.
The belt seems ok as does the Secondary transfer inner roller and the Primary rollers inside the ITB assembly.

Had some improvement (but not much) using the settings/registration, maintenance, "Clean inside main unit"

    Just any thoughts really please?
