    HDD canon

Good evening, my question is if you can clone the hdd of the mfp canon ir adv - ir advc, I am not a registered distributor of Canon and it is difficult for me to get firmware, so I see the need to create an image of the hdd of the mfp, thanks for your answers.

    Re: HDD canon

I have never tried to clone a HDD of an IR ADV C, but you mentioned firmware. I bought firmware from copierfirmware (dot) co (dot) uk a year or two ago and that worked well for me to do firmware upgrades on my copy machines. For what it's worth.

        Re: HDD canon

I tried cloning to a “Canon approved” HDD (there are only certain ones) and it failed when installed.

That was years ago, but I seriously doubt that has changed.
