    [Jamming] iR-ADV 8205 PRO

    Hi everyone

Got this machine giving me a jam 0108. I have stripped the fixing/feeder unit of the machine to clean the rollers and lube the bearings etc so I know there is no mechanical issues. Also testing the motors related to the section, they are all working perfectly well.
Ran a test on A3 and jammed on the second side...the code is related to the delay of paper getting to PS67(duplex merging sensor). Have checked the flapper which is usually a problem but seems ok. Tried on A4 but it's coming up with the same code although the paper is not even reaching the sensor see attached pics

Changed the duplex driver board - FM4-1085 but still the same.

Thinking it's an electrical problem somewhere...any ideas? Would be grateful🙏🏻

I think that is basically the same as the 62xx series and there are a couple roller shafts in that inverter assembly that may need to be replaced especially if you're getting a delay jam. If you scrub them down with an abrasive pad it may help.

Thanks for the response, Brian. It is exactly like the 62xx series apart from the fuser section.
I will definitely try that, thanks

Also try look at the sensor flags from the fixing to the duplex unit the may have a delay in getting back to the home position.
Try to look at the selonoid play as it actuates the flapper.
