    canon iRC3220N blue shadow

shadow on the full color copy
    after doing some troubleshooting
my conclusion leads me to the drum unit (cyan)
    my question is:

is there a way to service the drum unit
so the blue shadow will disappear?

    drum life is 133

alot of my cyan drum unit have this problem.
so i'm thinking of servicing those drum with fewer than 200.

    thanks!

no not really they do not us a cleaning blade they us a upstream and down stream bruch to clean the drum.. it is best to replace it and just move on.. at time you dont even get that much life out of them...

Those marks look as though somebody has dry wiped the drum surface.
Whenever I go to an iRC3200 that has CQ issues..I ALWAYS do a Pg5 test print of each color REGARDLESS of drum life.
It's the easiest way to isolate an image fault to a particular color drum unit.
Also...I'm guessing that if the cyan drum is at 133% then so are the other colors...(but i bet the K unit is over 200).
A Pg5 test print of each color will tell you whether or not you need to do the drums as a set or just replace the cyan unit.
