My 3 month out of warranty printer popped up "Control Condensation" error which is running on a continuous loop.
There is no getting rid of it regardless of reasonable home user actions.
After reading through the entire repair manual for this printer I found this refers to a part listed as UN-10 AKA RM2-9510-000 the Environment Sensor.
It would seem like a simple replacement except that the repair manual doesn't show you how to replace it or the exact placement.

Main Controller PCB and Low Voltage Power Supply Unit but no actual information on how to remove and replace it. Can anyone help with directions on how to replace this tiny chip that's holding my printer hostage. If I can't replace this I have a $560, 52 Lb boat anchor. |
