With 8 million prints, the entire duplex group and the inversion group must be overhauled.

Is the paper cut perfectly orthogonally?

of course the paper is perfectly cut, because otherwise it also affects the margin on the first side of the print

Check those wide white rollers on the lower left door....I have seen those crack and cause big skew. Problem goes back to C9075 days, same door basically.

But with 8 million clicks, probably time for duplex to get rebuilt like others have said.

That's pretty good mileage out of that unit all the same.

Your lead and trail edge blanking looks straight on my phone..lol...looks like a parallelogram. This is easily adjusted in paper management>image adjustments in user mode. Duplicate paper, edit image postion,etc. Straightforward Imagepress user mode stuff...make sure they are all displayed. Try that before replacing everything

I thought that this was the issue - huge cracks in those rollers so i replaced them all and it was still skewing the same :-(

Have you done trapazoid adjustment for 2nd side in user mode? 8 million is not a ton of prints on these, but assemblies have to be rebuilt at regular intervals.

I think the adjustment for 800 is the same to 850

Apologies for it being a while in replying, we've still not got a clue as to why its skewing, i'm thinking of replacing all the rollers, can anyone provide a definitive list of what they change in the reg/duplex unit during overhaul please.

Also we are being told that the left hand reverse/door assy FM0-1589 is now discontinued, is this a case of just changing all the rollers in it?

Hello, you have many days with the problem without solving...
If you better hire a technician to see that model of printer to see the failure in more detail.
