    Canon MF525 image sensor/ CCD

I somehow acquired one of these machines in my service area. I know lucky me.

The original call is for E302-0001 Error message. I ordered the Image sensor and ribbon cable, the light would flicker when trying to scan the original.
I finally received them but I don't have a clue on how to get this machine apart. The manual I have doesn't show me anything.

If you could point me in the right direction, I would be very thankful.

I haven't been on here in a while. Its showing me that I have 65,535 unread private messages and cannot send anymore even after I delete them, it still shows that they are there.

I have a so called service manual but it doesn't show anything other than operator functions.

          To close this thread.

I went back a nd replaced the ribbon cable and image sensor.

I had about 45 minutes into it. The hardest part was getting the outer covers off. After that is was basically self-explanatory.
