    Did you set up your laptop in your network properties?
    You did not mention this.
    The ip scheme is 172.16.1.101, this should be setup so that your laptop is able to communicate with the service support tool. This can also cause a communication error.

      I'm sure what he meant to write was 172.16.1.101, not 172.12.1.101. Too many numbers floating around in our heads The example Screwtape showed in the picture reflected this. Just did not want further confusion...

          i finally got it! the sst on my laptop was corrupt or something. i deleted it and reinstalled a newer version and walla, download accomplished! thanx again for all the help! jeremy

            Don'tcha' just love it when your tools, something that is suposed to make your lives easier, are the cause of your problems!?!? I am glad you got it sorted out, and thanks for the update!
