This machine has already received way too much attention by the service department. The customer initially reported a lightning strike, but later changed their tune. So far, service has replaced: HDD, toner hopper assembly, toner bottle drive assembly, ic photointerrupter, and the dc controller pcb.
Currently, when the machine boots up there is a REPLACE TONER CARTRIDGE message, but a new cartridge is not recognized either. When you close that message, there is a CHECK COVER warning (seems to be the front door). The last error to pop up, while I was trying to get into SETTINGS, was an E064-1400 HIGH VOLTAGE ERROR.
I have been checking the voltages from the Power Supply, and everything looks good. My next task will be to test the ribbon cable between the DC controller and the HV transfer pcb.
Anyone have any ideas?
