    IR3200 Interface

I just got an IR3200. I need to completely erase the IP/Ethernet settings but it does not give me the interface options on any of the screens. Can anyone give me any insight for what to do?

Also, any time I print to it using the printer drivers from Canon website I get 7 pages of ASCII characters at the top. Any clue to this as well? otherwise it seems to work just fine.

Firstly the IP settings can be changed by pressing the "ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS button and then selecting "SYSTEM SETTINGS>NETWORK SETTINGS>TCP/IP SETTINGS".
    Secondly...
You're using the wrong(or corrupt) print driver for the machine...hence the 7 pages of crap that it's currently spitting out.
Try grabbing the latest PCL5e,Postscript3 and UFRII drivers....the rule of thumb is if you have issues with PCL then try PS and vice-versa.
Unless of course the machine has a C1 firey hanging off the back of it..in which case you'll need both the 1RENE drivers for the firey and a Canon service representitive to install them and configure the firey for you.
I just LOVE these mulitbrand resellers who offer no aftersales service(not meaning to offend any multibrand techs here of course)

Or you can clear MMI. Go into service mode, *2&8* Copier>function>clear>MMI>OK,
Then power recycle the machince. As oze stated, check whether you have a image pass piggy back at the rear of the copier. If so, this slightly changes the situation.

      (*)addtional functions.

From the sound of things I think the person is a user and not a technician...so I wouldn't recommend any clears unless they've done it before and aware of what needs to be reentered off the door label and P-print...and also they need to be aware of the customer setting that may be lost as a result.
After an MMI clear you'll get the "Default key is corrupt or missing" message that needs to be reset in service mode level 2 by clearing the CA-KEY.
If we start telling end users how to get into service mode and perform major clears on the machine then I think we're steering them to potential downtime.
Best to keep the answers simple unless they introduce themselves as a tech first.

I understand where your coming from oze but we are certified technicians and im sure we can steer and guide users how to perform these actions with out causing them any harmful conditions. As for "Default key is corrupt or missing" this can be corrected and done in user mode under systems settings> network settings> TCP/IP settings>certificate
settings, which is part of the user section and not service mode, besides clearing MMI does not cause the Default key to become corrupt or missing", I believe if you clear MN-cont you will then get the message. And the P-print info does not need to be rentered after clearing MMI.. Had i said clear DC-con or R-con then i would've recommended to print out a P-print. I'm not trying to act like a snob and I hope you are not offended but , I've been around and I know my stuff as well as you do.

It seems to me that mcfarld is looking in the right place except,I do think there is a fiery hooked up to the unit and that's the reason why he can't find any IP settings. I guess we would have to wait for mcfarld to post back with a little bit more details.
