You are saying parrarell port, but the config page is for network printing, parrarell port is sort of like peer to peer which requires a straight connection with parrarell cable. Network connections require an ethernet patch cable, is this what you are using. Plus, are you using the correct print driver.

I believe that the parallel port is used only for service support tool to update the firmware. To print it requires the use of the network port.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

change the parallel port cable. cable only fault. otherwise use network connection, first u put domain or workgroup name and server name, workgroup name is equal system and copier and put ip address. use crossover network cable

The parallel port will support printing, that is why it shows enabled in this instance. You do have the ability to turn it off during configuration, but what is the point of doing that? The driver still needs to be properly configured on the pc to do this....

This is sometimes useful as a troubleshooting tool to see if the ethernet port is bad, if you can still get it to print through the parallel port.

if your parallel cable ok the windows will detect it automatically. also if length is so long it will not work. network port is adviceable to avoid data loss.

you had port 9100 also. so it is very easy to configure. try network port it will not disappoint you.
