Canon Imageclass printer cycling power on and off continuously

We have had a number of Canon Imageclass MF743cdw and MF445dw that have started cycling power on and off continuously. Canon will obviously replace it under warranty but we had a time or 2 that the replacement started doing it right way. I suspect it is power related, however once this happens it appears to permanently damage something as moving to another power source will not solve the issue. Yes Canon does replace it but I would still like to get tot eh bottom of it as it is a pain to through warranty with them.

See if you can get a surge box that can monitor voltage...

They aren't cheap but at least you can maybe save the unit from damage if there are random spikes coming down the line.
