    Canon counts understanding

Could a Canon tech explain to a non Canon tech how to decipher the counts. From what I understand for 101 Total 1 - it's just A4 paper? 102 Total 2 -its A4 and A3 combined? Which would be total black pages? 124 Total (Full Color + Single Color2) is the total color pages?

101 is just A4/LTR total sheets, 108 is the same just black only. 125 I'm pretty sure is the colour counter for this.

102, 109, and 124 are the "double click" counters. Typically, I will look at those on production machines...of course the customer only gets billed "single click" so they bill the 101/108 meters and then you look at the 102/109 a realize it has double the copies they are paying for lol.

I think I understand what you are saying, 124 Total (Full Color) + 109 (Black 2)= Total the total amount total amount of black pages, this includes A3 pages? Would 101 Total be the total of just A4 pages (color and black pages)?

        That's correct. 101 is A4 everything.

Out of the box they will display 101 and 108 and bunch of random ones that we don't really use at our dealer. I typically change them, but we can access any meter remotely through imageWARE so there is no need to really mess with it for us, unless we are going to be setting up the machine to charge as A3 (i.e. double click) then there is a switch in service mode that will automatically display 102/109 instead.
