Canon C7570i Imagerunner, need to detach finisher and buffer pass unit

I have been recently tasked with moving a copier in our building to the second floor, however the finisher and buffer pass unit being attached makes it too long for the elevator (I have not moved it yet, but I measured).

How would I go about detaching these? I looked for a lever but found none.

Our service tech is two weeks out, and the space is slated to begin renovations on Friday .

As for separating the finisher, this video will point out the little locking mechanism that you remove the screw from. Then the metal piece slides down and you able to separate the finisher from the buffer. Canon IR ADV 8786DX Finisher Separation #canon #advance #finisher - YouTube
