    Canon extra cassette compatibility

    Hi all.
    Does anyone know if an extra 2 cassette unit for a ir adv c35xx series will work on a DX39xx?
    The part numbers are different, but I haven't got one check if the connections are the same.
    Don't really want to risk blowing a DC controller if they're not compatible.

    Would appreciate any input if anyone knows, or has tried it.

      Hello, it would not work -if I recall correctly the connections/boards were all drasically changed when the DX series came out.

      The paper feed assemblys should be swappable if you needed to raid one for parts -some of the rollers were changed but it didn't seem to matter which ones you tossed in -short term at least.
