Imagerunner advance C3525 MPS message on disply

Hi
I have this machine showing MPS on the display That I want to be gone. the machine came in with a card reader mounted to the left of the display. I have disconnected it but the MPS still shows. Also I saw something about uniflow somewhere. Does anyone know how to make this go away? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

By dump the main controller do you mean clear the main controller in service mode? Also do I have to back up any of the settings before doing that?

I solved the problem. thanks to alex for set me in the right direction. I didnt clear the main controller but did compare the settings in service mode to an identical machine and found in service mode level 2/copier/ option /user /meapsafe was set to 1 . I changed to 0 and MPS on screen went away.

Also if you do an MMI clear that should reset any uniflow settings.
