    Margin problems on 7105

Ok this is another strange problem that i can find no answer to. first im using a 7105 with folder, gbc punch, and sorter/staple/puncher. When i run a document thats more than 1 page through the adf and use some sort of finishing on it, the document appears to drop down on the page.
However if i take that same document and run it without finishing it comes out perfect. Also if i just run 1 page and use some kind of finishing it comes out perfect. oh and heres the real kicker if you staple either on the top right or the bottom right the document comes out perfect.

our workaround for now is simply putting the document in the adf upside down. but i still have to figure it out.

What are the rom versions you are running?Have to have at a min v 35.07 i think to run both hole punches.May be a rom update to solve your problem.Since it only happens when you do finishing i would look to that first.

everythings been updated to the latest and greatest.... my thoughts is that its sending out the commands for everything then sending the data. so the laser is turning on, the finisher gets its commands then the data gets sent resulting in a ms delay in the data getting sent to the laser dropping the image down. but thats just an off the wall idea to go with an off the wall problem.

Does it happen from all trays?Have you tried MN-con clear or DCON clear?
Maybe something is caught up in the setting causing this.Just a thought.

ok i tried the mn con clear and it didnt work. however i found out that when i use the gbc punch the image comes out perfect. but if you zfold, regulare hole punch, or staple on the left side of the page it drops down..
