Hi I have a new customer that has this copier he said he was getting a lot of paper jams and opening and closing the side door now it is reading close side door he has two Toshiba Copiers that on worked on so he asked me to look at the canon not familiar with this machine can someone help to point me in the right direction thank in advance Neil

Hello, you have to check the jam code in service mode, and see if there is a defective sensor or the sensor activator is broken

Thanks for you response. Could you please send me some info on getting into the service mode. Not familiar with this machine but would like to get it up and running for the customer. Do you know where I can get a service manual? Thanks,
