I have a Canon IR 3225 that has a message at the bottom of the screen that reads "The Default Key is Corrupt or Invalid" Does not stop the unit from working. Any idea what this message means?

You just have to clear it. Addl func/2&8/Addl func/Addl func/2(for level 2)/function/clear/ca key
