need Canon rdf-f1 SM + PC
Need Canon RDF-F1 Serv Man + Parts Catalog. Was consistently not feeding or was jamming . Cleaned pickup tires and belts with rubber rejuvenator and worked for a while though I don't remember how I caused a sensor problem.
You need to keep the rdf up in order to make copies from glass otherwise machine assumes paper in rdf feed-in area which indicates that document detect is always activated.
Another thing I thought was weird is that the document exit right back into feed-in area on top of others waiting to feed in. That can't be right so I must have somehow caused a redirection of documents when exiting though I took very little apart.
ALso many time after document is copied and exits and after complete cycle when copy has exited the jam lite indicating an rdf jam flashes and you have to turn machine off and on again.
The custome rwas using the rdf this way for 3 weeks this way until the rdf stopped feeding again. I will need to order at least the pickup tires and possibly belts anjd don't and the cd I have has the C330D but it does'nt include drdf-f1 and refers you to that manual. I ghabe anothe cd with optional equipment and it has all the adf and rdf except the rdf-f1. I need the service manual so I don't screw it up any more and maybe can troubleshoot sensor problems and I need the Pc in case I need to order sensor or spring/actuator etc.
Of a course an inexpensive RDF-F1 in excellent condition or refurb would be a better solution.
