    Canon laser class 830i

    Fax comes up saying " Network Downloading Standby". Nothing else happens. The operational panel is nonfunctional. Eventually it just displays its IP address. I've tried a new network card. It gives me the same results. Discconnect the network card it just says "Waiting". What is going on?

      Did you ever find a solution to this? I have a machine doing something very similer.

          I updated the firmware and the problem went away.
