Ir 1023 banding ( lines )

I have a IR1023i and I'm having banding lines going from front to rear. It comes out lead to trail the paper, but the lines are front to rear about 1 to 2 inches some times less some times more. New drum

How many copies on it?Have you tried a new dv unit?

dev unit is prob starting to seize this could cause the problem. Take it out there are 2 metal gears that tend to get a build up of toner between the teeth and it solidifies causing it to seize eventually clean them out i had this prob recently started with bands and then noise.
