    Canon 1238i II Scan File Name Issue

    Hello everyone, I have a very important problem and I need you to solve it. I have a Canon 1238i II model printer. When I scan a file on the printer, I name the file on the printer. However, when I scan, additional characters appear in the file name. For example, the file I named 123456 appears as 123456_0017_231229182412_001.pdf. But for some reasons I cannot accept this. The file name should appear as 123456.pdf on my computer.

    I am asking for help on this matter.

      If that model has a button for removing date/time stamp, check it. Otherwise just rename on your pc.

          No, there is no such option. Is there a way to directly change the printer software?
