[Misc] Canon 4525i send button not available

I have a machine that we got in from a wholesaler and the send button isn't there, nor is the send button in preferences. Has anyone seen this before? I thought Universal send was standard equipment on these machines and I'm not familliar with how to disable it or why it would be disabled. It is the first generation of these machines. Gonna try firmware in the morning and go from there.
