I know how you feel i had the same problem couple of years back. I dont remember correctly how i got rid of it.if my assumption is correct you have a problem with the finisher or DC Controller

I disconnected it from the machine in hope someone will replay after futile attempts of reinstaling the cables from dc and punch driver board of the saddle finisher. This one got all, booklet maker, puncher, stapling even the hard cover inserter. They dont need it since they use only sorting. I believe that if i turn off excessive function, finisher will work.

Machine boot up normally and its ready to copy, but when i press start, machine scans the orginal, finisher adjust it self and then i wait obout 15-20 sec and error show. When i stop the copy proces before 15 sec and open the door of finisher and then close it, I get ready status....lol .

Machine is working when i dissconect the finisher. This is the reason i need that code explained since there is no error at boot up.

      Suggestions?

I got this from a friend...

"It reminds me the same E-code on the IR550/600 finisher D1/D2 where the fuse board or the finisher controller are bad.
              Check those boards."
"Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"
