Set up a scanner for ir 4570 ???

HI..

MY IR 4570 MECHINE.. I WANT SCAN A DOCUMENTS WITH MY MECHINE TO P.C.???

ANY ONE KNOW.. HOW TO SET UP A SCANNER...

IR 4570 MECHINE TO MY P.C. ..THROUGH OUT NETWORK CABLE..

I AM ALREADY USING THROUGHT OUT NETWORK CABLE FOR PRINTING DOCUMENTS TO MY P.C..

BUT WHEN I WANT TO SCAN THE DOCUMENTS TO IR 4570 MECHINE TO MY P.C..CANNOT COMMUNICATE FOR SCANNING DOCUMENTS.???

I HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED NETWORK SCAN GEAR DRIVERS (V.2.21) IN MY P.C ...

SEE.....
NEXT INSERT I.P ADDRESS IN SCANGEAR TOOL...

O.K
DISPLAYED MECHINE ADDRESS AND ETC....
DEPT ID DISABLED...

O.K

WHEN I CLICK DISCOVER.. IN SCANGEAR TOOL..

IN THE SCANNER FROM LIST MESSAGE BOX DISPLAYED PRODUCT NAME AND I.P ADDRESS AND DEVICE NAME AND LOCATION AND ALL DISPLAYED ...ETC..

WHEN I PRESS IN MESSAGE BOX DISPLAY THE INFORMATION AND PRESSING THE SELECT BUTTON!!!!

NOTHING HAPPEND........
............

IN MY MECHINE IR 4570 ..THERE IS PRESSING SCAN OPTION ..
msg . WAITNG ......SCANNER IS ONLINE DISPLAYED........

BUT START KEY CANNOT ACTIVATED.?????????

HOW IT IS........

You cannot scan if you're only using network scangear. You must have a scan software also like cutepdf or windows scanner program. When your scanning, no need to press the Start button of the machine. Just set your Scan button to Online.

Then place your original on ADF or in platen glass. Then run your scan software to scan your document.

i have already inside of MY P.C OF windows vista inside windows scan software...
any mail messages can open into windows scan gallery AND ARC PHOT STUDIO 5.5 AND NERO PHOTO IMAGE also........

and next i can use in mechine i press scanner option set online and set a document in adf and press the start button...

i do allthese things what you said......

But when i press scan option automatically option will go waiting scanner online... press start key scan the documents displayed ..
but in start button cannot on /(inside led cannot glow) ACTIVATED .??????

WHAT TO DO?????

IF ANY OPTIONS IS THERE SERVICE MODE ) TO ENABLE FOR SCAN THE DOCUMENTS...

IF IN THERE HOW TO ACTIVATE ? ????????

hi all members, I also face the same problem. When I try to send/scan document using my copier IR4570 to my PC, the machine told me I got TCP/IP problem.

Anybody have the solution or know How to setup network within my copier and my pc, please help me? Plessssssssssss explain to me because I really need this function.


I already use this copier for print using usb cable. Now I try to use network cable to scan and send.

Hi all I can't search scanner useing network scangear,I input ip address it reply 'SPECIFIC IP ADDRESS INVALID OR SCANNER IS NOT CONNECT TO SPECIFIC IP ADDRESS". Network print with same IP address OK . That why? HELP me pleaseee
