canon adv c3525i II error e302-00001

i have canon adv c3525i with error e302-0001, after i clean mirrors i can scan and copy from adf, but if i put a paper on the glass and close the cover suddenly error appear without press copy or scan . i try reset rcon an same error

any help pls

- Harness between the Reader Scanner Unit (UN_BO2/J101) and the Main Controller PCB (UN05/
J7000)
- Reader Scanner Unit (UN_BO2)
- Main Controller PCB
[Remedy] Check/replace the related harness/cable, connector and parts.
[Reference] Before replacing the Main Controller PCB, back up the service mode data (approx. 2
min) and restore the backup data after the replacement so the data may be able to be protected.
- Backup: COPIER (LEVEL2)> FUNCTION> SYSTEM> RSRAMBUP
- Restoration: COPIER (LEVEL2)> FUNCTION> SYSTEM> RSRAMRES

The most common reason is between the Reader Scanner Unit and the Main Controller.

try and scan an empty glass bed.
try and scan different size paper/orientations
check how the scan lamp is lighting up when closing the lid
check the values of the reader controller pcb in service mode if everything is 0...check connections and if they all look good it could be the reader pcb


I've had the shading error due to extreme dust; you've probably already did but make sure whiteboard, white plate, and both sides of the glass are clean.
Make sure the scanner is reaching the home position/moving properly
if the error doesn't occur with a smaller paper size then it's possible you have a faulty photo interrupter but usually you'd get a false paper size recognition.

The ribbon cable/scanner is the most likely cause though.
