    CANON GP 605

    Have E 220.
    Tried to replace scanner lamp but still same.
    Lamp just start to light for moment and then get error code E 220.

    Thanks in advance for inputs.

    did you clear the error code ?? *28* copier /fuction/clear/error/ok ???

    when you install a new lamp , you got to make some ajustments like ccd adjust

      replace the heater lamp

        Check the lamp heater as it may have a small crack in the wiring, which may only open up when scanner is moving.
        Make sure the heater is put on in the correct location as it may block a sensor.
        If the heater does not correct it, try the lamp intensity pcb.

          try to clean the lamp holders (connectors) may be some carbon dust also leads to error e 220

            Hi there,
            I got this issue long time ago, replacing the light intensity control PCB resolved it
