    4535i internal sorter info needed

    greetings
    i dont service Canon much but have an accnt who took in a closed neighbors canon imagerrunner advance.
    I was there last to service their Ricoh colors and took a look at it.
    it seems like there is a minisorter jam but i could not release the sorter with engaging the lever.
    Does the sorter pull out to front,side?
    maybe pics would help..

      I was also confused for the first time. The Japanese blew it with this model. You need a screwdriver!

          So what gets unscrewed and does it pull out to the left or towards the control panel..

                      can it be removed as an option?
                      i fix things if possible but dont need headaches or having to learn a machine i will never see again

                                  Did you get it removed? Simple to remove these from machine..under 3 min...lol. Open front cover, thumbscrew to remove bracket for starters..

                                      no I had 4 other machines non canon to do part calls on and my meter in the street had me on a tight window.
                                      also this is a free favor to a good account..on ricohs the internal sorter comes out two screws and a bracket..
                                      i have not touched a canon in 10 years...when i first started copiers i did do some CLC500 LIQUID MACHINE..Do not miss that
