    Need help with C3220

I have a Canon IR C3220 with a C1. The machine was not recognizing the C1 unit so I went into service mode to reset MMI, DCON, etc. I need help on configuring the machine to recognize the C1.

To back up a little, I've had the machine about a month and the C1 was working. Then once it wouldn't communicate with the c3220 after about 20 times of power down and back up it did. Last week tech was servicing it and shut down power and wouldn't come back up at all. I got another C1 to replace it but need help with recofig.

Can any one help me out???
    Thanks,

If you clear the MMI and DCON you must re-enter all figures on the door specs.

Configuring imagepass C1 you should change the Interface from zero (0) to three (3) Additional Functions - 2&8 - Additional Functions - Copier - Option - Interface. Turn off machine.

Connect your C1 to the machine properly with the correct cable. Turn on the machine then turn on your C1 also.

On the panel press the Printer tab and you can see it Waiting....or sometimes you can see the green light blinking together with the message on the screen Starting up printer.... Just wait about 5 minutes and if the display does not change, turn off the machine and the C1 then try change your C1 cable or you can simply reverse it. Turn the machine on again together with your C1.

Your imagepass should be in Idle mode in order for you to Configure it.

The default memory of C1 is only 128MB, in my case I always add one more 128MB so that it will start or process faster.
