IR 400 Scanning Problem

IN IR 400 the scanning of document up to 10 pages is fast after the scanning of 10 pages then the scanning took too long after the start key is press.

The lamp glows normally but the scanning in ADF is normal it scans faster. What may be the problem?

it is due to blacken end in florescent lamp. while putting new lamp, ccd, or dc board we have to adjust ccd in manual mode.

open back door. remove printer board. put 10 white papers on top glass. now switch on machine wait till ready. now goto

*28*>copier>function>ccd>manual adjust> ok.

now the machine start to show some letter like 'AD' and 'VOL'. now the lamp comes to front and lighting.

in dc board you can see a VR near to the orange LED. now you adjust VR with FT screw driver. in one position the buzzer start sound continiously. and a green LED also starts to glow. in screen you can see 'VOL-OK'.WITH CONTINIOUS BUZZER SOUND. now press 'OK'. it calibarate other setting itself.

after finish setting press ok. switch off the machine and on again.


if you can't get the buzzer sound the lamp is not sufficiant bright to adjust. change the lamp and again do the procdure.

if the lamp can't adjust don't forget to adjust the VR to its old position.

if you do this perfectly the lamp starts normally
