CANON ADV 6555i Spots on Copy & Print Outs

    Hi,

I have a customer with a Canon Adv 6555i that is having issues with dirty spots on both copies and prints. The spots never appear in the same area, they constantly move. Some pages have spots and others do not. They also claim the copier when is turned off at night and turned on in the morning, the first page comes out with a Smokey gray full page.

Developer was cleaned out. Drum Unit was cleaned out. Blade was cleaned. Main Charge was cleaned. Pre Transfer Corona Unit was cleaned. Transfer belt was replaced.

Any ideas what would cause this. Copier only has 38k.

My friend, I want two tests .

A3 sheet , both white Print and Black Print

Try to check if the points repeat every 26.5cm

              Seems to me drum issue

If the print count was higher I would assume some form of toner build up somewhere.

Drum blade was cleaned but not replaced? what do you mean you cleaned the dev unit?

flip the drum blade and see if its any better -I'm wondering if the blade just aged out and isn't cleaning properly.

This is proper, original toner right?

I did not flip the drum blade or replace it. Blade seemed to be in good condition.

I cleaned the Dev by removing all the old toner and stirring in new toner.

Toner being used in the copier is OEM CANON Toner. GPR 38
