    Hard reset canon IR5000

    Hi any one can advise the hard reset of Canon Ir5000? thanks

    RESET

    press* PRESS 2 & 8 AT THE SAME TIME,PRES*DISPLAY WILL NOW SHOW CHOICE OF COPIER,FEEDER,SORTEROR BOARD MODES,LEVAL 1 PRESS "RESET"TO RETURN TO PREVIOUS SCREEN. PRESS"RESAT"TWICE TO EXIT

      Almost there.
      Press (Additional Functions *) 2 & 8 simultaneously, (Additional Functions *). You have now entered Level 1 Service mode. Select Copier>Function>Clear>Err>OK. That is a hard error reset. Next hit reset until you're back at the main screen, or if you're in an error condition, the error screen. Power off and then on. If it's a clearable error, your machine will come back up. If there's a hard error that needs attention, you'll probably get the error screen back.

          highlight chk type then press 2 press ok high light hd check then press ok highlight hd clear then press ok
          highlight chk type then press 3 press ok high light hd check then press ok highlight hd clear then press ok
          highlight chk type then press 4 press ok high light hd check then press ok highlight hd clear then press ok

          that is hard reset all your setting has been reset
          all you save on mailbox will erace
          its like new format
          its also work on error 602 on first show of error
