can i change the boot rom from c to n with sst?

I don't believe you can.
I'd see if you can buy N boot roms from canon or failing that look on ebay. If the seller is a selling a kit you could always ask them if they can list a boot rom by itself if that's what you want.
i have here extra ir5000 controller that has a special boot rom (dual) for flashing from C to N. it can handle ir3300, 7200, 8500, 105, 5000 and 6000..
