    IR-3220 PS driver problem

Has anyone ever seen this? Printing with PCL5 driver is fine but when printing with postscript drive the registration is off by 1 inch shifted to the left. I am using the latest ps3 driver and tried an older ps3 driver and the same thing. The machine has the internal canon print board not the c1.
I recomend to customer to get c1 because I dont know how to fix this problem. It does the same thing from any program and windows test page. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Is your default paper size set to A4 and not LTR?

      12X18

Im not sure what you mean by the default paper size? I was printing on 12X18 paper. When using the pcl driver it prints ok. When using the ps driver the image is shifted to the left 1 inch looking at it in portrait position, and has a 1 inch white border down the right side. The windows test page on letter paper did the same thing. would it being set to A4 also affect the 12X18?

I am not sure about 12 x 18 paper, but under printing preferences, the PS drivers have been defaulting to A4 lately. And yes the image even on test pages will shift up and cut off the top part of the test page until you change the default to LTR.

Sounds like something not configured right...set for full bleed(12x18) on driver...are you send job by paper size or paper tray...fit to scale checked...only emulated postscript anyway

                    c1

They had been using the pcl driver all along but then when they seen the quality improvement of the printed image with the ps driver. They want to use that. I know getting them a c1 will need to be supported.

IRC 3220 internal board printer? I never use pcl or ps for this printer. I use UFR.

But if you want a quality output, you are correct C1 is good.
