    Canon GP335 black band moving

    Hello friends, i have a Canon gp335 with a black band on the copy that moves when making copies. i Have changed the laser unit but it still appeares, i have checked out the developing unit and the transfer roller but these turns out good.Has anyone experience this problem and what was done to solve it?

    Does the image defect repeat on the page, lead to trail? Running legal or 11x17 should give you a repeating patern to view. What is the distance between the lead edges on the pattern? You mentioned the developing unit was good,, did you try it in a different copier, or swap in a replacement developer? Off hand I would say it was a fuser problem, but could tell more by seeing a scanned sample image.

      have U checked power supply output voltage ??

      Pls check the output voltage of power supply that also makes a black band in the copies

        Check the drum I'll bet the black band is the same circumference as the drum. Points the cl blade or drum itself. You could check the fuser for a flat spot on the roller. stop the paper intentionally before the fuser and you will know if its drum or fuser. also a messed up gear will cause this in the drum drive cluster.

          I would also suggest you look at the Charge Roller on the drum unit, thats if the band runs the full width of the page.
